Aropec Sessions #1 Core strength/stability

In the first Aropec Sessions video, triathlete coach Joel Enoch of the HBC Jets gives his advice on improving core strength and stability

“The core muscles work as an anchor between the upper body and the lower body,” explains Joel Enoch, HBC Jets coach and Aropec ambassador. “And to make sure that movements between the upper, say with the swim stroke, don’t impact on the lower body we need to have a strong core.”

The core impacts on all three disciplines in triathlon and in this first Aropec Session, Joel demonstrates exercises involving the Swiss ball to strengthen this all-important muscle group. This video was shot at The Crags Edinburgh, cragsedinburgh.com
